” I´m a Lady straight from heavens sky ”

"Now it´s finally time to launch my debut single as a solo artist and songwriter and I feel proud to present the song "Lady". With this song I hope to convey the importance of letting someone see their full potential, while keeping a strong integrity and to dare to love with all of your heart.

Huge thanks to my team and musicians Maria Alfonsine, Damian de Boos-Smith and Michael Quigley at Church Street Studios Sydney”.  Stay Awesome /Ulrica

Ulrica is a singer and nowadays a songwriter who sees the opportunity to express herself both in text and music in order to convey her joy of life to other people. Rock music has always inspired Ulrica and she has sung everything from classical and jazz to musical and pop, and therefore influences from these genres are also seen in her music.

In early 2019, Ulrica went to her beloved Australia to visit her sister and friends since she lived there for 4 years."I visited my sister Maria Alfonsine, who works as a composer and music producer in Sydney since 2013, and her fiancé and also colleague Damian de Boos-Smith in their studio at Church Street Studios. We started talking about that I, for as long as I can remember, wished to learn how to play drums. I sat down at the drum set and sat there for several hours and drummed as much as I could. That was when I created the melody that later became the intro to the song Lady”, says Ulrica.

Music has always been a big part of her life and she has been joining various projects such as playing in musical amateur productions as the moviestar Zelda Zanders in "Singin´ in the Rain", Dixie in ”Some like it Hot" and Liesel von Trapp in" The Sound of Music".

Ulrica has always felt at home on the stage and has sung as a soloist at several events together with the Black Suit Band, Borås Salongsorkester and the choir Notknäckarna. She has supported artists such as Py Bäckman, Cajsa-Stina Åkerström and Mia Poppe as backing vocal and participated in Borås Revyn and New Year's concerts. Her occupation is hairdressing and education so she is used to entertain a wide audience.
